Although J-CAP is the shortened version of its official corporate name (Queens Village Committee for Mental Health for J-CAP, Inc.) we prefer to think of it as standing for Just Caring About People. We are a nonprofit agency dedicated to helping people help themselves by providing an exceptional selection of human services and healthcare programs to the local community. We are located in the New York City borough of Queens, NY.
Established in 1968 as a store-front outreach center for drug information and prevention, J-CAP has evolved into several programs that meet the current needs of the community.
